Not so long ago, selling merchant processing was a biiiiit different.

ME MR. MONKEY! YOU TAKE CREDIT CARDS?!

The way things were done were, how shall we say, more primitive.

“ME SELL YOU THIS SO NOW YOU TAKE CARDS!”

Times were different… as most businesses needed to accept credit cards.

The streets were literally paved in gold.

“ME MAKE LOTS OF MONEY! YES!!”

Sales agents had different motives in mind.

Soon, Mr. Monkey realized he needed more sales!

So he hired commission only sub-agents.

“ME MAKE THIS BIG BIG BANANA.

ME GIVE YOU THIS LITTLE LITTLE BANANA.”

And soon, Mr. Monkey built a large and very successful business.

“LOOK AT ME, ME FAMOUS!

COME ON GIRLS, LET’S GO FOR A RIDE!

ME SELL COMPANY AND MAKE MIIIIIIIIILIONS!”

This way of selling is what we now call…ancient history!

“HUH? WHAT YOU MEAN?!”

The industry has changed a lot since Mr. Monkey had his day.

In today’s business environment, would monkey still be so successful?

Forget about what worked in the past. It’s a whole different era! Now merchants are more sophisticated when it comes to accepting electronic payments.

They know what they want, ask the right questions and look for a Sales Partner that they can trust.

Merchant level sales have evolved. And so have we.

So our partners need to be more…sophisticated…have more business sense, treat our merchants better, and know what it takes to be successful.

“BANANA?!”

Because nobody wants to do business with a monkey anymore.
